Thanks, Emily. Like everything else in stuttering, I think it depends on who the client is. If I had a client who I felt was very shy and bothered by his or her stuttering, I would ease into the idea of risk taking... and if I had a client who I felt was extroverted, it would be an idea that I would share almost immediately... It's important to meet our clients where they are as much as we can. Thanks for your comments and kind words! Joe
