Hi Dr. Klein! I’m so excited that I was able to read two articles posted by you on this website. I started grad school this semester at C.W. Post and I am currently taking the fluency course. One of my assignments is to respond to an article on this website. I feel fortunate that the comment I am about to make, and that I will share with my class is one of which I can personally relate to. As one of your previous students and part of the quantitative evidence, I would like to give you some qualitative evidence that you are an excellent communicator. I feel fortunate to have had you as an educator in my undergraduate fluency course. I learned so much about stuttering and fluency from having had you as a teacher, specifically through your personal stories about your feelings and emotions involved with your stuttering. On my first day in my graduate course the professor asked the class if we know anyone who stutters. I responded by saying that my professor from undergrad stutters. My current professor knew that I was talking about you before I even said your name, and she told me that I will be able to contribute greatly to this course. I am glad to see that you believe that you have become an excellent communicator. I hope that me giving you this qualitative evidence shows you that other people consider you to be an excellent communicator as well.
