Great advice. Stuttering does get better with age 99% of the time. Older people have thicker skin. Perhaps you can give some helpful advice for parents of children and teens who stutter. Of course, talk is cheap. Doing it is much harder and takes some courage at first. Many people recommend voluntary stuttering in non-critical situations. I do have to say that some people (including some SLPs) have real negative attitudes towards stuttering and that influences young people who stutter and their self-esteem. (The importance of listener reactions). Children and teens do care about other people and their opinions. Rick
