I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and you are right about hindsight being 20:20. If only there were a way to make foresight 20:20, right? You mentioned that you made a big deal about your stuttering as a teenager. Did you find that you had always made a big deal about it, even in your early and middle childhood years? What would you recommend or say to a school-aged child who is having the problems you had with attitudes towards personal disfluencies?
