I am currently enrolled at CW Post taking graduate courses, one of them being Stuttering. The first day of class our professor asked us to go around the class, introducing ourselves... by stuttering! I can definitely say that from that simple experience I felt like I wanted to disappear, hoping I wouldn't get picked on. I truly appreciated your article and the positive message you delivered! You mentioned that "the way you react determines how people respond to you" and I absolutely believe that. As a child, how did you deal with your stuttering? You mention it gets easier as you get older, but how did you face your everyday communicative "challenges" growing up? Thank you for your time and insight!
