Intensive therapy can take the forms of various periods of time. Mine was 3 weeks with follow up. I try and offer it in 3 hour blocks of time, if possible. Viewing yourself without therapy might be difficult,but it might be helpful to watch where the tension is, for ex: in the throat, lips. There is a book written by the Stuttering Foundation of American which you might find helpful. I think it's called something like For the Stutterer, written by people who stutter.
