This sounds like a great activity for people who stutter. As with any speech/language therapy, skills that are learned in the therapy room are not always generalized into everyday situations. This therapy seems like it is an effective step between the therapy room and being comfortable in the "real" world. Were you exposed to this therapy activity when you completed therapy for stuttering? Also, does this activity always prove to be successful to the clients?
