Dear Dr.Onslow, In my country, stuttering awareness is still quite a foreign concept to many people let alone finding treatment for early stuttering in young children. Can you kindly give examples of what sort of treatment you administer to a stuttering child in the phase 1 stage? Do you think primary School teachers can employ some of the techniques used in the Lidcombe program manual to help the needy stuttering children since there are hardly any trained SPL’s or speech clinicians in my country? Thank you
