Dear Mark, I found your article extremely stimulating and innovative. We wondered, like you, about the utility of an intervention in pre-scholar age. In our experience, treatment in this age range showed long-lasting advantages. What we noticed in early treatment of children is that through the years these ones don't develop the typical negative attitude nor avoidance behaviour of stuttering persons, and, in our oipinion, this is an important goal.
