Hi Evan;I still have secondary behaviours but they are much less severe than they were when I started my self therapy about four years ago. These behaviours include a desire to please my listener, rapid speech, irregular breathing and thoughts of word substitution. These conditioned behaviours are difficult to erase completely but when they surface I try to identify and modify them. If you are still stuttering as an adult the chances are that you will always stutter but you can learn to stutter in a better way.
