Chelsea: I would have liked to work with a good speech therapist. Someone may be making progress learning how to fix a car, but it would certainly help to have a certified mechanic to offer advice and assistance. From time to time, whenever I have some questions about stuttering, I call one or two SLPs that I know and respect and we have an informal chat.
