Nancy, electronic devices have been around for a long time. There is a lot of information about them on the Stuttering Home Page. They apparently can be beneficial for some stutterers, other stutterers do not like these devices. There is an article on this conference that provides free softward for your computer that gives you an idea of what some of the devices do.
