I appreciate your candid disclosure about your experience as a clinician working with children when parents/caregivers were intimately involved in treatment services and when they were not. I wonder, if like me, you sometimes considered post-poning or even refusing to offer therapy to a child (preschool, school-age, teen) because it was most likely there would be no committed, on-going parent/caregiver involvement.
