Oooops!!! Joseph, I said "self-stem", what I meant was "self-esteem". Years ago, I attended a workshop sponsored by The Stuttering Foundation of America. Bill Murphy, professor at Purdue University gave helpful insights on working with negative emotions and attitudes acquired by children who stutter.
