That idea has come to my mind. The presentations that we had for parents were successful in the sense that parents were able to make connections and just realize that they were not alone in the boat. However, as a speech therapist working in an urban district school I have found that parents are hard to reach and is even more difficult to get them commit more time in their busy lives. The idea of a self-support group is a great one and it is worthy trying to implement with involved parents.
