Hi Amy. What we have done in the past is to implement informative sessions to parents about stuttering and how parents can help their children to improve their communication skills. We target the possible students and parents that are likely to come and make phone calls or send invitations to make sure they attend. Despite these efforts, we do not count with large attendance. Other ways to reach parents is at School Open Houses, when parents come to talk to teachers and specialists like us. We sure know that we have to increase our efforts to make parents more involved.
