This is an interesting observation to me as well. I look forward to seeing the discussion unfold. I did not see you address the fifth question in your paper, about reasons stuttering may return after speech therapy. I am a graduate student taking a fluency course, and we had a discussion about this today. Could it be that people who complete therapy believe that they can become complacent about techniques? Maybe they believe they are "cured" and do not need to concentrate on maintenance as much. I look forward to seeing another perspective on this issue.
