Dear Doctors Rasskazov and Rasskazova, Hello. My name is Renata, and I am also from Russia originally but have been living in the United States for over 25 years. I am currently working on my Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. I found your paper interesting and agree that stuttering is a multifaceted and perplexing disorder. Do you know of any research that has been done to establish that the use of intonation and rhythm leads to a reduction in stuttering? If you do, can you please tell me where it has been published and by whom? Also, specifically what kind of professional help do you recommend for people who stutter to reduce their psychological discomfort when talking to others?
