Dear Beth, In as much as stuttering is a part of speech and speech, part of human communication, communication, in its own right, can be seen as behavioral. Furthermore, behavior is the expression of our individuality and rational mind and, man is part of a society or environment and, our environment part of the world or universe as a whole. Thus, we are left with the question: is stuttering behavioral?
