Thank you for the information about why so many stutterers fail to stuter when alone. I haven't thought to look at that aspect of stuttering, I think the more stats we get on how well stutterers do when by themselves, or with pets, or with small children, the more we can incorporate them into the therapy setting to improve the indviduals fluency.
