I was happy to see a paper on this phenomenon posted and I thought it was very interesting and insightful. I noticed that in one of your responses (to Laura S. on Oct 15th) you mentioned using audio recording to evaluate the speech of a person who stutters while alone. I was wondering if you think this recording would be an accurate representation of their speech alone, because they would know that they are being recorded and that someone will ultimately be listening to the recording. Thanks and good luck with your further research.
