Thank you for your wonderfully written inspirational story. I know I will share your life lessons with many individuals. As a student pursuing my Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, your life lessons apply to a variety of clientele (not just individuals who stutter). I especially enjoyed your life lesson that, “Nothing of value is ever gained without some risk. To improve or change the way we speak requires us to risk facing the fear of disclosure, embarrassment, failure, and non-avoidance. Learn to take risks on your own behalf.” Congratulations on all your success and Good Luck in the future.
