Wow, I’m not sure I’ve ever read so much wisdom in one article. I’m a second year graduate student in SLP. I think it would be great to have a poster with all of your “words of widom” to hang in my office after I graduate. A few of the phrases that really appealed to me were: “Stuttering does not define you,” “There is life after the teenage years,” and “You do not have to be a victim of stuttering.” I applaud you for getting-up the courage to go into the veterinarian office which in turn put you on the path to your life-long career. I hope to be able to encourage clients who stutter with some of your words of wisdom. Thank you for sharing you life experience.
