Lee- Great article. I am a PWS and a SLP graduate student. "do not assume that when things don't turn out the way you hope that your stuttering is to blame!" -- I especially liked that point and your story was worked perfectly to illustrate. I think a lot of PWS tend to blame whatever they can on their stuttering and coming to that realization marks a huge step forward in the therapy process. It's part of the process in becoming an effective communicator, no matter fluent a PWS perceives themselves to be.
