Hi Melissa, Excellent question. Sure, I still get a little nervous or anxious about some situations. However, I do not avoid situations because of my stuttering anymore. If I get into a situation where I am having more dysfluencies than I am cmfortable with I will usually stop an say something about it, use some fluency enhancing skills such as voluntary stuttering, pull outs, or easy onsets. Self disclosing in some non-intrusive way ( humor has always worked for me...: "wow, that was a good one...easy for ME to say, etc,). Thanks for reading and commenting. Happy ISAD!
