Hello Catherine, I’m glad you liked the article, and I appreciate your enthusiasm. Yes. I do believe that stuttering intervention is a mutual journey for SLPs and their clinicians. It is a journey where clients are encouraged to persevere, but to expect possible failures, and then ultimate success in their discovery of a new person. Envisioning and planning for success as well as challenging the client in accomplishing transformations in cognitions, behaviors, and emotions are the goals for the client’s search for successful and joyous communication.
