Hi, I'm an undergrad at the College of Saint Rose studying to become an SLP, and I found this to be very interesting and helpful if I ever have any clients who stutter. I was just wondering what a good age would be to begin using these interviews in therapy. Do you feel it would be better to begin this in late elementary school, such as fourth or fifth grade, or to wait until middle school? Also, how long do you feel it takes, on average, for a child to be comfortable with his or her stuttering around peers? And, do you reccommend using this therapy for older teenagers and adults who stutter? Thank you!
