I don't often thank people for making me cry, but you did that quite beautifully David, and I'd like to thank you for it. It's a strange Friday afternoon as I write this, and frankly, I'd been feeling quite low. Then I read your article, and I could feel my body-chemistry change. My thoughts and my feelings were different to what they were 20 minutes ago. You are spot on, of course. Life IS about relationships and about love. Once the basic needs of food, water, and shelter are taken care of, what else is there but love. Articles like yours get stored in the database in my mind, and get called up when I need to remind myself what my core values really are, when I need to remind myself to be Real, with a capital R, in this very un-real world we create around us.
