This article was such an enjoyable read. The heart felt stories/experiences in your life were conveyed with such sincerity that I truly felt that I gained some insight into obstacles a person who stutters might face. Currently, I am a second year graduate student in SLP and am enrolled in a Fluency Disorders class. Reading this article, and others regarding the ISAD Conference, has been a wonderful educational opportunity for me. I appreciated the words of wisdom and hope that they could be passed down to others who may find themselves along similar paths. I find myself wanting more information pertaining to feelings and attitudes of people who stutter and how those feelings can impact therapy.
