Hi Renee, You have been very generous in your comments. All of our experiences, the good and the bad, impact the person we have become and the way we approach life. You may want to look at my response to Angela, particularly how we may elect to alter our personal constructs. The point is that we interpret our present events and anticipate our future events on the basis of our past. Nevertheless, we can create opportunities and experiences from which we then can consider alternative interpretations and predictions. Indeed we are influenced by our past. However, we may elect to alter the impact of our past by creating opportunities for new experiences and alternate constructions. I hope this helps. Give a yell if you wish for clarification.
