I absolutely agree with your article as it raised a great point. Therapy should be centered on listening to the client, which is easier said than done. What are some strategies you use to ensure that you are an active listener for your clients? Also, do you ever find that clients are reluctant to provide strategies for their own fluency for fear of not being successful? If yes, what do you do to rid them of this fear? This article helped me gain a lot of insight into the goals of therapy, thank you!
