Julie, Thanks for your comment. I have never used a list of goals with clients. In talking with clients about their stuttering and about what is hard for them relative to their stuttering, I don't usually find it a problem for the client to come up with ideas. If someone is unsure, I may take a comment of their and suggest that this seems to be an area of concern for them, perhaps giving them a few ideas about how that might be approached in therapy. They can agree or disagree, and we can go on from there. I wonder if a list of goals would be helpful, or if it might be either overwhelming, or not include something that is an issue for the client. Having never tried that approach, I can't speak to that--it's just a hunch on my part. I hope this answers your question. Regards, Lynne
