I'm currently a speech language pathology grad student at New York University and am enlightened by your illustration of case studies in Autism and stuttering. Because the Autism Spectrum Disorder is usually characterized by defecits in the emotional and social domain, do you find secondary behaviors (such as escape and avoidance behaviors) usually less occurring/absent from ASD clients with stuttering disfluencies? Thank you fo your time!
