I am a SLP graduate student at the University of Iowa and I greatly enjoyed your presentation of these case studies. These cases provided insight to a population of clients with disfluency that may not be typically addressed in academic work or encountered by new clinicians. In regard to associated behaviors, is it difficult to characterize these behaviors as specifically related to fluency? What type of associated behaviors are most common with ASD clients that stutter? Do these associated behaviors improve with improved fluency even if the client has decreased awareness? Thank you for your time and for sharing this interesting and valuable information.
