Dear Orlin, Thanks for the comment and for the description of your "toastmasters" experience in group therapy in Bulgaria. I've been to Bulgaria several times, as recently as last May for the cluttering conference. Too bad we did not get a chance to talk about this there. I believe that your model is good, but maybe more appropriate for stutterers who have achieved a good degree of acceptance and insight into their stuttering. Our group focuses mostly on desensitization and insight, but we also do some skill practice. Most of the skills though are learned in individual therapy here. Still, there is no reason why one could not use this model and combine some desensitization/insight work with practice with public speaking. Give it a try. Ken
