Hi Ken, Wonderful to see you are involved in group therapy. I think we would both agree that whatever the cause of stuttering behaviour (dysfluency), the stuttering disorder (negative behaviours, attitudes and emotions)is a communication problem. Providing a forum for people to develop communication skills and overcome old anxieties is so important. However one thing I have noticed is that pws do not always respond well to authority figures. Have you found this a problem and what is your strategy for dealing with it? Also would you agree that pws are helped most by being empowered in the comunication process and given leadership positions? Best wishes for your future work, Mark
