Dear Richelle, Thank you for asking a question that is exceedingly easy for me to answer. The answer is "both." For stuttering adults and parents of children who stutter, a group experience focusing on knowledge, insight, feelings, beliefs, attitudes, and feelings can be of great help and support. For adults and children who stutter, individual therapy is typically the best way to teach fluency enhancing/stutter reducing skills. Of course, there are some well-known programs that teach fluency skills in a group setting as well. I am not referring to that training as the "group therapy" which is the subject of my presentation. Ken
