I am a graduate student/aspiring SLP and found the drama-therapy idea really interesting. I just attended a camp held specifically for people with aphasia, and part of it involved putting on a play. It seemed to help the people with aphasia deal with their fear of communication, just as it seemed to help the stutterers in your article. I was just curious what sort of data was taken as part of your study. Was there actually a goal to decrease disfluencies by x amount or was there a more general goal to increase self-esteem? Thanks!
