Thank you for your appreciation and your interesting comment. During the whole theatre course, the patients acquired the basic techniques of acting, other than the use of the body and the voice. After about 2 months, they begin to use those skills in order to broaden the knowledge of the characters they will perform. The roles are assigned by the director, depending on patients' characteristics and potentials: the choice concerns above all patient's ability of getting into a character, more than his verbal fluency. Usually, we tend to choose plays in which roles are equal in duration and where each participant can express and improve his personal talents (singing, dancing or playing a musical instrument)
