Thank you for your interest in our work. Our patients often express their perplexity for group activities connected to verbalization. The rehabilitation program we suggest begins with an individual therapy, in which logopedists and other specialists involved work together with the patient, to reach a good pneumo- and phono-articolatory coordination and, at the same time, they help him to focus on the whole person, on unexpressed capabilities, on their chances to show themselves in a better and more complete way, rather than on the symptom. Group activities and theatre laboratory can thus help patients strengthen their personalities, acquire or improve self-esteem and consequently improve their quality of life, too. Outcomes are reached in 12-15 months.
