Hi Emily I don't think people who stutter are more prone to only conversing online any more than fluent people do. You'll find 100% fluent people who tend to have a lot of interactions online because they either prefer or enjoy them. Although a good step in expanding comfort zones as far as speaking situations go, I don't think people who stutter should stop going out and speaking to people in real life too! Jan is right in saying that stutterers may avoid it anyway as it's "all voice", but the advantage of us 'advertising' this in a way, is because it's a lot easier to talk to a fellow person who stutters as a first try at chatting online.
