Hi Jada Skype works a bit like any other chat programm, or your mobile for all I know. You can just choose who you want to talk to, either 1 to 1, or in a group if you choose. Participants can only join a group chat when they are invited by the host of the conference. Only the 'skype-casts' are fully public, though run with a moderator. So I can't see how privacy concerns could apply here. Enjoy !!!
