What a great article. I enjoyed reading and knowing that others face the same challenges of juggling different but connected clinical skills. It is encouraging that as SLPs we have many options and can learn and specialize in other areas. Langauge therapy covers so many things it can be a challenge to explain all of the areas to parents, (syntax, semantics,pragmatics...)Do you have any books that you recommend for parents of children with language impairments? Also, do you have any favorite developmental checklists? Thank you.
