Hi! I too enjoyed you article and the analogy to second langauge learners. It seems like others outside the field would automatically link SLPs to working with children who stutter because they presume it as a speaking (speech) disorder. Do you find this attitiude (as in the title of your article) in the majority of people you encounter? Thanks for your time.
