Hello! I am a graduate student studying communication disorders. I loved the sample songs from your CD, but I especially loved the fact that your clients were involved in creating it! Music is a wonderful medium for getting the attention of kids (and adults). As a former teacher I have heard songs about everything from potty training to grammar. Yes, I grew up listening to School House Rock (“Conjunction junction, what’s your function…)! I think this is a wonderful way to increase awareness and would be great for a child who might be shy about talking to his/her classmates to use in getting a conversation started. As a mother of two, I know that in this day and age, anything that can be played on an ipod is definitely cool!! Thanks, and congratulations to everyone involved in this project.
