Michael That’s a great question that has been explored by many theorists and is difficult to answer. People with Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) have an anxiety disorder which causes them to have thoughts and ideas (obsessions), and/or behaviors that may make them feel obliged to do something (compulsions). I think the consensus is that some people with OCD may have perfectionistic tendencies but not all, and some perfectionists may have OCD tendencies but certainly not all. Thanks! Barbara
