I have a very good friend who stutters and I have noticed that when meeting new people she tends to stutter more. Could this be contributed to making a good impression or trying to be percieved as perfect. She has stated that she cannot control her speech so she feels like she needs to control everything else in her life. I really enjoyed the article. Very interesting!
