Hello Eva,I think the best way usually is to be very honest and ask what they thought about their previous treatment - what worked and what didn't and what they liked and what they didn't - so you do not make the mistake of repeating what they did not like etc. If you make it clear that you are not looking for criticism of the previous clinician/s, rather, the process they had, most people will be honest. Especially if they see you are trying to analyse their experience constructively - to inform your clinical decisions.
