In your article, you mentioned the Lidcome Program as the treatment of choice of young children. If you had to list other programs, who would you choose and why? Overall, I found this article to be very helpful. I am a 1st year graduate student working with a client who wants to be more fluent, but doesn’t want to sound unnatural. The client has been stuttering severly since the age of 3 and has finally realized that he wants help. Instead of starting from the bottom, my client wants to start directly at the top. How do I get him to focus on the smaller picture at hand and start with those natural sounds occurring in his speech? Thanks for your time. Rhian.
