Dear Eva, I think that if we are open and honest then our clients will be that with us. They need to feel we respect what they are having to manage in terms of their speech production etc. I also think it is often useful to use books written by people who stutter as a basis for some discussion e.g. "The Stutterer's Survival Guide" by Nicholas Tunbridge.
